Domain Names
As a member of Nominet - the UK domain naming authority - we are able to register
all top level UK domains, on your behalf, for just £9 (inc vat). These are co.uk, me.uk and org.uk suffixed domains.
The standard £9 fee covers registration for two years. You are free to move the domain to another
host, at any time, without being charged. If you remain happy with the service you pay £9
every two years for renewal. If you want us to point the name to another pair of servers - outside our hosting package -
we levy a £10 per year administration charge.
We can also register .com , .biz and .tv names for you, registration for these starts at £15 inc vat ( a .com for 12 months). Contact us for more details.
If you wish to use the domain name for email or to display a web site, you will also need a hosting package.

Individuals, hobby sites, & charities @ £29 (inc vat) per year.
(2GB Traffic per month, 250MB Web Space, 5 Mailboxes)
Small companies & heavy-use individual users @ £40+VAT (£47) per year.

Secure server & certificate - for a secure online shop - is +£100 per year
Larger companies (20+ email accounts) @ £150+VAT per year.
(20GB Traffic per month, 1GB Web Space, 20+ Mailboxes, 3 subdomains, 3 databases)

domain name @ £39 (inc vat) per year. The easy way to maintain your own website - for people who
just want a simple blog, without the hassle of learning HTML / FTP etc.
If you exceed a limit, your website still remains fully operational -
these are just notional figures we use to share out each servers resources more equitably.

on any machine - making you almost self sufficient.
The package also includes a comprehensive web stats package, so you can see who's visiting you / how often, and what they look at.

In addition, you get Horde web-based email. Just like Microsoft's Hotmail, it can be used at any PC with
an internet connection by entering 'webmail.yourdomain.co.uk'.
If you already own a co.uk or org.uk domain you can easily move it to our
companies tag - for parking or hosting. To transfer: simply ask your current host (or Nominet) to change the IPS-Tag
to TRCOMPUTERS. When this is done we'll be able to control which server your name points to.
You can expect to be up and running again within a couple of hours of the IPS-Tag being changed.
We're also able to host .com .biz .tv .eu & .net domain names that you already own. Just get your current provider
to point to our coolnames servers or change them yourself if they provide a control panel. Our name server records are:
NS1.COOLNAMES.CO.UK and NS2.COOLNAMES.CO.UK
When we've finished setting up your domain name on our servers you'll receive an email
detailing all login & password details (for FTP, Email & the Control Panel).
To upload your site you'll need an FTP software package:
Filezilla is an open-source(FREE) FTP package.
If you haven't already designed the site, and fancy having a go at doing it yourself, we would recommend you give
NVU a try. It's an open source, multi platform, web site development tool, that's FREE.
Once your site is up & running, you should register it with Google &
Dmoz.org search engines - as it's FREE.

We maintain two separate servers hosted by different companies - they both run Linux.
We use them for hosting our own company websites - trcomputers.com , trcomputers.co.uk & spystore.co.uk - such is our confidence in them.
In the VERY unlikely event that one server suffered a major outage we can move you to the other server quickly.
Any domains found parked on our IPS-Tag, without prior permission, may be clamped and towed away!
